Updating your DNS at 000domains.com
The purpose of this tutorial is to explain how to update your DNS (Domain Name Servers) settings at 000domains.com. If you have already purchased your domain name through 000domains.com, you will need to go to their site and make the changes necessary for your website to be visible. As our new hosting client, you will need to point your domain name to our servers. You received our nameserver settings in the welcome email that was sent to you when you purchased your hosting package with LampNetworks. There are two or more nameserver (NS) settings, and they must each be changed. When you are logged into your 000domains.com account:
You can now see the current DNS settings, these are the ones you are going to change to our LampNetworks DNS settings.
You are now at the Name Server Update Results page, it shows that the nameservers where successfully updated to the nameservers of LampNetworks. Your domain is now pointing at our servers. You can now click on the logout link in the upper right corner or click on the Back to Domain Information link just to be sure. You will see the new DNS settings listed. Please remember that it can take 24 to 48 hours for your domain name to fully propagate after you make these changes. For additional assistance, contact us by submitting a support ticket. |
